I had so many gold jewelry bits laying about, I wanted to use as many as I could on this tiara, which is all gold. The centerpiece is a star, surrounded by two enameled crescent moons, which used to be earrings. Gold discs finish off the design on either end. A beaded gold chain is at the base of the tiara, with a gold ribbon wrapped around the wire frame to protect the wearer's head. This tiara reminds me a little bit of the crescent tiara in the possession of the British Royal Family.
